What you can do with the FieldLink demo (prototype)

You are viewing the FieldLink demo (prototype). It’s a place to experience the flow and feel of the service before any paid plan.

1. What is FieldLink?

FieldLink is a “museum search & journaling site” that gently connects museum lovers and the people who support each museum.

• Find museums you want to visit
• Check what the place is like before you go
• Leave your own record after you visit
• Reach the official donation/support channels of museums you want to help

We designed the experience so these steps feel like one connected flow.

2. What visitors can do

Search for museums

• Search by area, category, or keyword.
• List view shows: museum name / area / one-line copy / key accessibility info (e.g., wheelchair access, accessible restrooms).

Use it as an entry point when you want to “browse what’s out there” or decide a weekend destination.

Check what you need before you go

• Address & access (nearest station, walking time, etc.)
• Opening hours & closed days
• Accessibility information
• Donation/support options (if any)
• A short message from the museum

We value helping you imagine if the place fits you or your family before you visit.

Use My Field to keep “want to go / visited / favorites”

In this demo, you can try My Field as-is (login is not implemented).

My Field is like your personal museum notebook for looking back later—remembering when/where you went and what you saw.

3. For museums and partners (demo)

The museum-side admin demo is not public; we share it individually with interested museums/partners.

If you are a museum and would like to try it, please let us know:

• Museum name
• Your name
• Affiliation/role (if any)
• Contact email

Send the above to info@field-archive.com and we will provide access to the demo and login instructions.

4. About this prototype

What you see now is a prototype (experimental build).

Notes for now

• Some museum data is placeholder test data.
• My Field data stays on this device/browser only; it will not sync elsewhere and may be cleared by settings.
• Layout and wording may change based on feedback.

What we’d like to add

• Enrich museum data with official collaboration
• Make My Field journaling easier and more sustainable
• Let museum admins update info with minimal effort

5. How to use this site

We want FieldLink to quietly support not only big museums but also smaller ones.

• Find where to go next weekend
• Keep notes of exhibitions you enjoyed
• Confirm official support channels for museums you want to back
• Get hints for how museums can connect with visitors
